And who am I without the labels?

I am a deep listener, a creative mind, a lover of the ocean and the trees, and a soul that enjoys a good wiggle and shake. I am endlessly curious and drawn to the magic of new places. I recharge in solitude but come alive in connection. I believe in source, energy, and angels. I believe in creating magic in this life and inviting others to do the same.

Before I found yoga…

It all began with a deep connection to movement. Growing up as a competitive gymnast and with a deep love for dance, I found expression, freedom, and joy in movement. Both modalities allowed me to create and feel in ways that words sometimes couldn’t. The dedication and resilience it took to grow as a gymnast brought about a unique feeling of empowerment—an experience that now mirrors my journey in yoga and in life. It’s about never giving up on yourself, staying curious about what unfolds when you keep showing up, and owning your authenticity.

My yoga practice is my anchor, my sense of home.

Fast forward to my first year in university, where I struggled with anxiety and the discomfort of many unknowns in my life. It was during this time that I discovered a yoga studio, felt an immediate pull to it, and decided to take a class. From the moment I stepped onto the mat, I felt an instant connection to the practice. It was the movement that initially captivated me—the way I could reconnect with my expression through shapes and flows, moving without hesitation or doubt, fully immersed in the present moment.

I became a volunteer at the studio while studying Speech and Language Sciences, continuing to explore the practice and learning about yoga’s deeper roots. I realized that yoga was so much more than just movement—it was a powerful tool for expansion.

After university, I moved to Calgary to work in my field and fell in love with a new yoga studio that expanded my practice even further. I was introduced to meditation classes, kirtan, inversion workshops, sound therapy, and yoga classes that intertwined storytelling with rich philosophical teachings. It was around this time that I felt the undeniable pull to pursue my yoga teacher training, so off I went to Costa Rica to deepen my knowledge.

I feel aligned with my purpose, and that purpose is to share this practice with you.

I’ve been teaching for over a decade, drawing from my 250-hour Bhakti Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, along with additional certifications in Restorative, Yin, Meditation, The Art of Hands-On Assists, and more. Over four years ago, I expanded my offerings to include Pilates, which has been an incredibly fun movement practice to share with others.

In 2019, I founded Evolve Retreats and have been leading international experiences that support individuals from all walks of life ever since. This is my favourite way to connect with others, sharing the power of “living yoga” while having fun and exploring new corners of the world together.

Yoga has been a transformative force in my life, offering solace during times of grief, empowering me, and fostering a deep sense of self-appreciation. It has taught me to embrace who I am and trust that, no matter what life presents, I am ready to surrender and trust in the greater plan. I believe in the power of community, in the joy of having fun together, and in the growth that comes from learning from one another. Everything I’ve learned—and continue to discover—I am deeply passionate about sharing with others through my teachings.
