NOSARA

Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica

January 28 - February 3 | 2026

What began in the misty mountains of San Ramón now finds its way to the sea. We return to Costa Rica with open hearts, this time landing in Playa Azul, a peaceful coastal gem near Nosara, where we will gather, grow, and evolve together. This retreat holds a special place in Mikaela’s heart, as Costa Rica is where she completed much of her own training and supported other teacher trainings. It’s a place she continues to feel deeply called back to, and she can’t wait to share its magic with you.

Our Soul-Driven Mission

Evolve Retreats was founded with the intention of helping you bring more fulfillment and clarity into your life. It’s so easy to get caught up in daily routines and lose sight of what truly matters. Our retreats are designed to help you reconnect with what lights you up and rediscover your purpose. We bring together a community of like-minded individuals to create meaningful connections, all while supporting your personal growth and self-reflection. We handle everything—from nourishing meals to beautiful venues and a balanced schedule that combines inner work with ample downtime. Through practices like yoga, meditation, journaling, workshops, and adventures, we offer a safe and nurturing space to explore who you are and who you have yet to become.

  • Wake up with the sun and fall asleep to the sound of waves in your private villa suite. Each room offers hotel-style bedding, air conditioning, toiletries, bathrobes, working desk, a private terrace, and an ensuite bathroom. Some even feature beautiful outdoor stone showers.

  • When I found this incredible venue and spoke with the team behind it, I knew it was the perfect place for our next retreat. Set right on the beach, it’s just a 20-minute drive from Nosara - close enough to visit during your free time, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet.

The open-air yoga shala is exactly what we envisioned, and the private dining space is ideal for silent breakfasts by the sea and social long table lunches and dinners.

    • Black sand beach

    • Large pool

    • On-site spa

    • Beach chairs and umbrellas

    • Open air Yoga shala with every prop you can think of

  • Nourish your body with fresh, locally sourced, vegetarian meals served buffet-style. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared to support your energy, digestion, and overall well-being throughout the retreat.

Our chefs are happy to accommodate any dietary preferences or food allergies.

  • Daily morning and evening yoga practices: Mikaela leads a 1.5-hour “Magic Morning” Vinyasa flow that blends breathwork, meditation, and journaling, each day centered around a soul-stirring theme that carries through the rest of the day. In the evening, wind down with 75-minute sessions ranging from Yin and gentle Vinyasa to Restorative Yoga and Yin + Yoga.

Yoga props on site: Mats, blocks, blankets, straps, cushions, bolsters.

  • Return to the foundations with a strong focus on alignment, breath, and meditation. Release what you think you know and step into your practice with a fresh, beginner’s mindset! Lots of hands on assists, partner assists and group discussion throughout.

  • Mikaela will lead a 45-minute afternoon Pilates class (with resistance bands) designed to activate deep muscle groups, synchronize movement with breath, and energize the entire body!

  • A grounding practice of breathwork, meditation, and guided group circle sharing to cultivate the power of active listening and connection.

We will dive deeper into our daily theme that was introduced and explored during morning practice.

  • A bucket list moment: releasing baby sea turtles into the ocean as they begin their first journey! An awe-inspiring experience you’ll never forget.

  • Snow Moon Ceremony – February 1st

A time of deep reflection, emotional release, and quiet inner strength.

This special evening will be co-led by Mikaela, who will guide the group through intentional reflection, heartfelt sharing, and deep meditation, and her dear friend Sean (a third-generation astrologer) who will offer powerful insight into the energetic offerings of this full moon and how to work with its wisdom.

Together, we’ll create space to release, realign, and renew under one of the most introspective and spiritually potent moons of the year.

  • Sound Healing:

A holistic method that uses the power of sound frequencies and vibrations to promote deep presence and connection with self on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.

This practice often includes meditative experiences where sound is used to induce relaxation, enhance mental focus, and create a peaceful state of being.

  • Goodies:

You’ll receive an Evolve journal and pen along with a welcome swag bag featuring some travel friendly gifts from various sponsors.

An experience that draws you inward.

YOUR RETREAT INCLUDES:

OPTIONAL ADD ON EXPERIENCES:

  • This ceremony will be held on-site and is available as an optional add-on to your retreat experience. To inquire about pricing and booking, please reach out to Mikaela directly (mikmillyoga@gmail.com).

Please read more details about the ceremony below:

Alejandro is a Sundancer from the Lakota and Mexican traditions. He is a Pipe carrier and has been blessed with the sacred design of the Inipi by the Lakota that means to live again.

In this experience we have the opportunity to relate to the sacred fire, stones, ancestral chants, etc., and use these instruments as keys to open the doors of our unconscious.

We sit in the womb of the universe to look into our own eternal universe and bring the unconscious to consciousness, and in this state we can observe our false belief systems, our shadows, fears, and strengths and make a conscious decision to create ourselves from our own essence.

  • During your free time, enjoy a visit to the vibrant surf town of Nosara, located just a 20-minute drive from the retreat space. Discover boutique shops, cafes, local markets, and beautiful beaches. Group shuttles can be arranged for an additional cost. It’s the perfect chance to experience the charm and energy of the area.

  • Indulge in relaxation with on-site spa services available at an additional cost. From massages to body treatments, it’s the perfect way to treat yourself during your free time and fully unwind.

  • Interested in catching some waves? Surf lessons can be arranged at an additional cost. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to refine your skills, it’s an unforgettable way to connect with the ocean and embrace the Nosara vibe.

  • Book a personal astrology reading with Sean, a third-generation astrologer with a gift for offering deep insight and clarity. I had a session with him myself, and the conversation was incredibly eye-opening. It gave me a fresh perspective and so much to reflect on. Highly recommended for anyone looking to better understand themselves, their path, or current life themes. Limited spots available. Please reach out to me directly to book: mikmillyoga@gmail.com
